  • From the hand of the journalist, Carmen Cortés, we will learn about the digitisation cases of four retail brands in the city: Ferreteria Bolibar, Grupo Sagardi, Idun and Raima.

After the success of the premiere of the first series of podcasts “Trade is digital” last January, the entity Barcelona Oberta, with the support of the City Council and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, through of the HUB cambraDigital, have decided to release a second season. On this occasion, the interviews on digitization correspond to four retail companies that have a presence in the commercial areas of Barcelona Oberta, such as the Born, Rambla Catalunya, Barnacentre and the Eix Sagrada Família.

In each of these capsules, and by the hand of the journalist Carmen Cortés, a journalist from Betevé, the experiences in different digitization processes of recognized brands in the categories of restoration, DIY, beauty and stationery will be discussed. Through interviews with its owners and managers, the Barcelona Oberta entity wants to publicize real cases of digital transformation of businesses in the city.

With a duration of approximately fifteen minutes, the audiovisual capsules will host a new protagonist every Wednesday who will share the challenges of their businesses with a digital key. Bruna Bolibar, manager of Ferreteria Bolibar, will share his experience with “The digitization of an emblematic and familiar trade”; Juan Carlos Arriaga, Sagardi’s head of marketing and communication will explain the challenge of “How to digitize the uniqueness of a gastronomic experience”; Loli Iborra, administrator at Idun, Bienestar y Belleza, will talk to us about “Digitalization as a professionalization tool”; and finally, Núria Raja i Nil Muntané, manager and marketing director of the well-known Raima stationery shop, will explain how: “Europe’s largest stationery shop is also digital”.
